Secrets out but buying a home in winter is underrated 👀 And although winter is almost behind us, it’s not too late to get a head start on the Spring rush!

Personally, I have moved 3 times in the last 6 years and each time was during the winter season - on top of that during Thanksgiving or Christmas 🫣

Reasons why buying during the “off-season” may be a good fit for you:

- Getting a “deal” is top priority!

The winter market is statistically slower than all the other seasons. Let’s be honest, people are basically hibernating. Therefore, the sellers that are listing are typically more serious about getting the property sold asap.

- You want the ease of a slower paced market

If you are looking to avoid the likelihood of bidding wars, escalation clauses or just want to take a more laid back approach to touring homes without them being under contract so quickly, this is a better season for that.

- You aren’t looking in a low-inventory market/price range OR you are open-minded

This is unique to your budget and location requirements, but if your search criteria is broad you may have more success during the winter season because frankly you’ll have less to pick from!

- It’s when your lease ends or you just need to move!

Sometimes you just have to move. There are opportunities in every market, just have to find them!

Real estate has seasonal ebbs and flows but as cliche as it is, the best time to buy is when it’s right for you - reach out if you want to chat about your options 🏡😌

My favorite perks of living in North GA…

1️⃣ How many parks/walking trails there are! Everywhere you turn there is a well maintained park - Disc golf, tennis/pickleball, bike trails, and playgrounds I even want to play on lol.

2️⃣ The coffee scene is killer. Tons of local shops that serve up locally roasted coffee and really good vibes. ☕️ We ship Valor to our door monthly and enjoy their coffee every morning! I wish I could justify visiting their shop for a lavender vanilla latte daily 😍 @valor.coffee

3️⃣ Last but not least, the North GA mountains! Overlooks, waterfalls, state parks, campgrounds, so much to explore 🌄 Not to mention the wineries and walkable mountain towns!
